Meet Frank Sasso
Long before Frank Sasso became known in the animation world, he was immersed in the technical side of television production. In 1988, he worked for a TV broadcast equipment manufacturer in Paramus, New Jersey, where he demonstrated cutting-edge equipment at trade shows and managed a pioneering graphics editing system called The videoDesigner—a platform that predated Photoshop by years.
When the company expanded into creative services, Frank seized the opportunity to lead their new art and animation department, launching a career that would span decades and leave a mark on both the entertainment and branding industries.

Frank went on to become the chief remote penciller for Stimpy in the cult-classic The Ren & Stimpy Show, animation supervisor for a trio of Cheetos commercials featuring Chester Cheetah, and a mentor to Disney animators on major titles like Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. His work and insight have earned him multiple "Member Excellence" commendations from the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC), and he remains an active member of both ASC and the American Cinema Editors (ACE).
An award-winning podcaster and recognized authority on branding, Frank is passionate about helping creators and businesses build strong, memorable identities.

“The three most effective ways to establish your brand,” says Sasso, “are through an app, a podcast, and a strong social media presence. You won’t break through without all three. But if you have them and your brand is weak, you’ll push people away. The key is to align everything - and that’s where I come in.”

Together with his wife, Christina Sasso, Frank co-founded New Pod City, a full-service podcast production company. The couple are award-winning podcasters in their own right and host several successful shows. New Pod City offers everything from concept development to editing, promotion, distribution, and consultation - serving as a launchpad for voices that deserve to be heard. Frank was also named number 7 in Podcast Magazine's "22 Top Influences in Podcasting" as well as trained Sarah Jessica Parker for HBO MAX's "And Just Like That". The lead character, Carrie Bradshaw, had to look like a genuine podcaster. Things like holding a mic, adjusting headphones, etc. was what Frank trained Ms. Parker in for the first 6 episodes.
