The Bank

The bank was almost THIS empty that day!
I was on line at the bank, waiting to make a deposit. As I looked toward the front of the bank, I saw a woman who was clearly aggravated. She was arguing with the receptionist at the information desk. She started getting loud and then started yelling at the patient receptionist. I remember thinking how professional the receptionist remained. As a matter of fact, the louder the woman got, the calmer the receptionist seemed to get. The receptionist handed a piece of paper to her and the woman started walking toward the line I was standing in. "Oh, this is just great", I thought, "Now, she's coming over here!"
The woman took her place in line.
After about, I kid you not, 10 seconds, maybe sooner, the woman started to complain about the lack of speed of the tellers, the service, the carpet, everything. She started to quickly boil to the point of yelling and swearing. Loudly. Another woman in line said, "Lady, relax!" "@#$@#%!!", yelled the angry woman. I don't know what I was thinking but I said, "Hey, Ma'am, It's ok. Calm down." She stops, looks at me, and says, "I know you Frank Sasso!"
THAT'S what she said to me.
My mind started racing. I was thinking stuff like, "Where do I know this person?", "She doesn't look familiar.", "Is she from a community meeting?"
THEN she said, "Why are you here? To torment me?"

Now, there's only 2 people I know that actually would use the word "TORMENT" in everyday conversation; my friend Eric, and a demon. I thought, "Oh, I know what this is. It's a demon!" So, I said, "As a matter of fact, I AM! In the name of Jesus, come out of this woman!" I held my hand up to her face. Just then, the drive thru teller, Barbara (who by the way, is a believer), told the driver of a white van to wait a moment. She ran around the counter, came up behind me, put her hand on my shoulder and started praising Jesus. YES! RIGHT THERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BANK! It was like the scene in the film "The Matrix" where, while Morpheus and Neo are on the street talking and everyone else around them were frozen in time. Not to mention, the bank was practically empty that day; not even a security guard.
So, here's the scene. Barbara praising the Lord, me shouting in tongues, and the woman screaming. Suddenly, Barbara and I stop and the woman stops screaming. The woman gets within an inch of my face and says, "I'm not finished with you , Frank Sasso." I reply, "Get out of my face."
She leaves the bank.
After she leaves, Barbara turns to me and screams, "THAT WAS AWESOME!"
"Barbara," I say, "The Lord just gave these people something to talk about for the rest of their lives!" Now, had I been more mature at that time, I would've just started preaching Jesus to the people that were there that day, but I didn't. I DID drive home and tell my Pastor what happened. When I told my pastor that I didn't think the demon left the woman, he replied, "Well, you didn't ask the demon its name. So, the next time that happens, command it, in the name of Jesus, to identify itself and then cast it out."
All I could say at that moment was, "The NEXT time?!"
Mark 5:9-10 (NIV) - Then Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” “My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.” And he begged Jesus again and again not to send them out of the area.
