The Evasive Side Kick
Like the side kick, Ferocious
Frank starts by setting his front foot by pointing his heel in the direction
of where he is going to kick. This heel setup is not unlike the roundhouse
kick. In this example, it's to the left. After setting the heel, Frank then
lifts his left leg up, directing his knee in toward his chest. His "kicking
foot" has his heel down and his toes up (called the blade edge).
Frank then pushes his leg out, releasing the kick, brings it back into his
chest, and returns to his combat stance.
What makes this kick different is that it's a kick you would through while
running away (or evading) from your opponent.

To add a bit more power, jump about 2-3 inches off the floor while kicking.

For extreme power, (and an incredible workout) jump all the way up while tucking your heel under your buttocks!

Woah!

Defense
benefit: Like the side kick, this one will send your oppenent into
yet another world of pain. This kick, when delivered correctly, could render
the oppenent inoperable. For example, if the evasive side kick is delivered
to the oppenent's knee, it would easily snap. You can use this kick to knock
the wind out of the oppenent as well because your using the biggest muscle
in your body...your buttocks. This kick is very popular amongst smaller framed
men and women because it can do a lot of damage easily.
Fitness benefit: Incredible workout for the buttocks.
